The Unit

For those
cadets that pass the New Entry Phase and have an interest in music we also have
a band that meets on Monday evenings 1900 at the school. The band regularly participates in
parades, ceremonies, summer events and competition, while being one of our best
fundraisers. Just this month the
band won the Hampshire Regional Band Competition and is looking forward to the
National Band Competition later this year in October.
Wdo not
receive government funding and are totally dependent on
the money we raise ourselves through tom bolas, fetes, carnivals, band events
and anything else the Ship’s Management Committee can think of. If you came across this site while

As well as conducting training in a range of nautical subjects, drill, marching and ceremonial there are opportunities to go sailing, boating, cycling and attend our annual camp which has been held at locations ranging from Pinsent and Arundel to the Norfolk Broads.
