Welcome aboard T.S. Glorious N.T.C

T.S. Glorious N.T.C is one of 20 units within the Nautical training corps.

Commissioned in 1964, Glorious, like many youth groups have had its many ups and downs, however we are proud of our ships compliment of over 40 Cadets and Officers, and that we are able to open our doors to young people living in Crawley and the surrounding areas.

The Unit offers activities on a weekly basis at our headquarters - Hut 31, Tilgate Recreation Centre. Onsite activities include band training and shooting, and our main parade evenings on a Tuesday where the cadets participate in a varied training programme ranging from basic seamanship skills, to numerous team building tasks. Uniforms vary dependant on activity.
